The season doesn't have to end after Fall, once the ice forms and the lake is freshly blanketed in snow the area is a winter wonderland. Accommodations
Whether you are seeking a weekend getaway or a week long recharge in the wilderness we have what you are looking for. We offer cozy 2 bedroom kitchenette cabins complete with everything you'll need to keep fueled for the days activities. All cabins are equipped with electric or wood heat whichever you prefer since your firewood is always provided. Both bunkrooms offer a queen below and a double bed on top for your group adventures. While guests are staying with us the lodge store is open for your convenience equipped with basic groceries, tackle, bait and dry goods. Our central shower house with flush toilets is open offering a way to clean up after the days activities.
Ice Fishing Shack
Our camper conversion ice shack is a luxury on the ice. Nothing beats a warm shack on a cold day, with comfortable bench seating on either side you can easily fish with a group of 4. The shack boasts 5 ice holes, wood stove, 2 tv's (for personal ice camera/dvd movies) cooktop and coffee maker for those not wanting to miss a minute of the action. We supply the wood and generator, all you need is your auger and fishing gear.
Ice Fishing/Snowmobiling
For those who love to explore, the winter freeze up gives you the opportunity to see those places on Dore Lake you haven't been able to access in the summer. There is a massive lake to punch holes where ever your heart desires to land your lake monster or miles of trails to explore on your sled. The sky is the limit. Bring along your cross country skis or snowshoes and broaden your winter horizon here at Dore Lake.
